My first trip to Europe required extra cash; I was in college and making meager wages working a 30/hour a week job. Its one thing if you voluntarily want to take a survey, but when you are soliciting someone's opinion when it doesn't want to be solicited is disastrous. You feel so genuinely awful having to ask someone if they have the time to answer a few questions about something they most likely don't give two rats about in the first place, then you interrupt their sacred time with their families or their time away from work and in the sanctity of their own home to ask them if they would like to take a survey?
