Spirituality: Staying Detached In A Time Of Chaos

Author: Nick Arrizza, M.D.

There are profound changes occurring on this planet and in the very nature of our reality. The changes I'm referring to are those that are occurring as a result of the many heart felt intentions made by individuals desiring global peace.

Such changes are however not going to occur always as smoothly as we may like. Why is this?

Well if you think about it when a large group of individuals come together to hold an intention to shift the consciousness of humanity here there will be some significant resistance to contend with. That is why we have been in this untenable situation of violence, death and destruction for such a long time.

The resistance to change, in spite of the great desire for positive change held by many here, is embedded deep in minds/bodies of individuals on the planet.

I can relate a simple example that will highlight this. On my way back from a conference I met an individual who was a trauma counselor/trainer and who was very familiar with the negative effects of trauma on the lives of its victims. In spite of this I heard her utter a comment that clearly depicted the dilemma we find ourselves in here.

What was said was that she considered "trauma as a gift" that individuals could learn and grow from.

I suppose given that philosophy we should all go around traumatizing each other in the name of love, shouldn't we?

So you see there are many beliefs that are held even by the most well intended individuals that keep us "anchored" in a reality that is inherently traumatizing and undesirable. Such beliefs act as a "counter force" to those intentions for global peace that I mentioned earlier.

So as the intentions are "put out there" so to speak there is the potential for the shift in the reality to occur in a some what jarring fashion as opposed to a smooth fashion. This is often experienced as one's reality going into a chaotic state.

During such chaos a common experience that individuals have is fear. Fear of uncertainty and an ensuing fear of change that is! Such fear acts to keep us entrained in the "current" reality by keeping us attached to the beliefs that create and support that reality. This thereby stalls the "new desired reality" from manifesting itself.

A clearly better place to be is in a calm, relaxed and peaceful state where one is detached, confident, resilient and dis-identified to whatever is going on. Such a state allows those beliefs that are responsible for the current reality to be purged from the individual and the global consciousness more rapidly and painlessly.

The net result being a "global consciousness detoxification" of old undesirable beliefs. This will ultimately lead to the rapid equilibration of our experience in a new and desired world.

I have written extensively in this ezine about a tool for personal and interpersonal change that acts at the level of consciousness called the Mind Resonance Process(TM) (MRP).

In my view MRP will serve as one of the key vehicles that will facilitate not only the transition to the new reality but also assist in the detachment from the potentially ensuing chaos that will arise from such a transition.
