Presidents/leaders of Democratic nations feel it is. An enemy of America till he was killed in a bombing raid, Zarquawi of Jordan was honest in saying he did not believe in Democracy. HE also proclaimed the righteousness of Islam--the world of Muslims. HE also indicated that democratic leaders were liars. And that, for example, the US sought to expand their ideology world-wide. That American bombers killed innocent people. YOU know what, he was partially correct! American bombers did kill innocent people WHILE they sought out the enemy that dressed like civilians! These soldiers of the Baath Party did whatever they could to survive and that meant hiding among innocent people and thus, not caring who died as long as he did not. HIS system worked for three years. This same zealot stated that the US wanted to expand its political system world-wide. That is also correct. However, the logic of such expansion is altruistic but not necessarily logical. As the famous professor of psychology says both How is that working for you and People will do what they are motivated to. Within the Socialist system that encapsulates the Muslim faith, people are motivated to pray x number of times a day, wash and eat with a specific hand, dress a certain way and recognize that a Mullah is as powerful as the police or the national president. Remember I said motivated to believe so. In some Muslim nations, as the training continues for the Muslim girl or boy, the consequences of searching the benefits of competing religions and different life styles can produce a death sentence, or a life of being shunned, or beatings, or any combination of the above. You want Mohammad to love you, right? Or, You do believe the teachings of Mohammad, correct? A negative response is like saying kill me now. Returning now, to the US and British approach to helping the presumed weak Middle-Easterners--must the US and Britain help a people who have been Muslims for 1,000 years become democratic Muslims? NOT sure that is logical or possible. The leader of the faith, Islam, Mohammad, was not raised in a democratic society. To cope with his surroundings, he created a faith that was stern, male oriented and sexist. He sought power and power for his friends and family. Those who did not follow his ideas were given an early key to their grave. How can people, like Russians who were raised on a Socialist philosophy become democratic faithful? How can Muslims honestly want democracy? Their faith is more important than who governs. To them, Mohammad is all encompassing to them. A Muslim knows only praying, dressing, his language and his Mullah. He is accepted by having his praying buddies around him, by making sure his family females cover their hair, and even when voting is permitted, do not permit women to have a say in anything outside running the family. Our news shows pictures of average females of all ages in Afghanistan who still cover themselves. Same in Iraq. Why should the women uncover or run for office or go on strike? Why because outsiders only toppled a leader--not a way of life. Telling the populace now you can vote and gain the benefits of democracy. Well, those who hid during the war who preferred the Socialist system are now working energetically to keep the Baath party and socialist systems working. The mid east has tens of millions of people who know only one way--and two- faced leaders who only want to sell oil to America and China. It is not in anyones best interest in the middle east to covert from their Socialist system to a democratic system because one is wrapped in their culture and thus, religion and the Other, while It offers inferred freedoms, has no way to bring people from a Muslim Faith To a Christian based faith. TO say Muslim is to say Socialist. And most people who have not compared all the components, will disagree with me. To say democracy is to say Christian. Is there a democratic Buddhist? Again, some will disagree. So, how can democracy be a right if in fact, one is raised a Muslim and its entire preachings are socialistic? Like trying to drive down the street with one foot on the gas and the other on the brake--a case of wasted effort and illogic. Dumb. [When a price in Saudi Arabia was asked about women voting, he casually said All in good time. What he meant was, not as long as he gains advantages as a Socialist and allowing women to drive would give them one foot towards democracy!] |
